Today, I look through the Wheel of Time.
I hear the crying of a woman and a baby, for two different reasons.
I observe the young dancing in a circle, singing some odd song.
I see the slightly older playing a game modeled after the bravest men.
But Fate takes a different turn: I see one of the boys from the game now in a park next to a significant other.
Fast-Forward, and I now see a ceremony involving these two.
For the second time, I hear crying- again, it comes from a woman and a baby.
The baby goes into the man’s arms.
Fate intervenes again: The next room is filled with little square rooms with an opening on one side.
Fast-Forward, and a gathering is held around an oval table.
One man will never return to that place again. He appears to be old.
A man and a woman, both old, sit happily together in separate chairs with curved feet.
Fate shows up one last time: I can hear crying again, but for some reason it isn’t the same as before.
Fast-Forward, and I watch another gathering, yet this one has a dark tone to it.
At the end of the wheel, a stone appears with a name and two dates on it.
Today, I look through the Wheel of Time.
